Hearts of Hell

Welcome back to Listen to your Heart, the new edition to the Bachelors series.

Week 2 of this show got me in some moods. It was a rollercoaster.

I think they did amazing picking these guys this time. I see a lot of really nice and sweet/genuine guys. I think Chris is an absolute sweetheart. Sorry to hear about the loss of your father.

Aye, Trevor is just a gentleman making sure Jamie is comfortable on their date. Side note he has a nice vocal voice music-wise.

(I do not drink soda that much and haven’t drank Mtn Dew since middle school, but this quarantine has got me in old old old ways.)

The producer definitely set up some foreshadowing some drama with Trevor and is past with what Jamie said on their date. Aaaannnnd, there it is, C’mon man, emotional cheating is a real thing. I actually wanted to see you close to the end Trevor. Dang, it man.

Side notes:

  • Does the NCAA know about those donations you two got on that date? (Sports joke sorry)
  • Love Jamies one piece.
  • It sucks Jamie I know. Feel for you girl about your past.
  • I wonder how hard it is to be yourself around people you do not know when you can be anyone you want since they do not know you.
  • No one better hurt my man Chris. He hasn’t felt this way in a long time and he is to good to be hurt and let go.
  • Sheridan is in a hurt hurt situation and its sad to watch. Because he is so love-struck and shes dragging him along.
  • Love “the bones” song
  • Rudi is a HOE for this rose. Daaannnnnngggg.
  • I hope they screen everyone to make sure no one has diseases because there is a lot of physical activity for The Bachelors series.

The new girls definitely brought the fire! Mariana is hot and Natascha is so gorgeous.

I do not see why these girls are all over Branden. He is not even cute and really seems like a dick. Yet, Savanah and Branden look like a match.

Then you got Mel just gun for it with Branden. Everyone kissing heavily.

Rudi is crazy as hell, Like Crazy crazy. Please, Matt, don’t do it! Stay AWAY!!

AAAHHHH Matt you Damn IDIOT. NOT RUDI, anyone but HER!

And this week’s ending ended with a sad watch that Sheridan still picks her at the end. And then Branden proves he is a dick to what he says to her at the end.

Until next time on The Bachelors Series, Listen to Your Heart.

What Song is In Your Heart?

This past Monday 4/13 was the debut airing of The Bachelors ‘Listen To Your Heart’

Just want to do a shoutout to Jed from Hannah Browns season for giving them this idea lol (disclaimer he did not give them this idea)

So far it is good music and a diverse group of people. Which is a plus!

In the introduction of the members, I can already see the 21-year-old being in some drama.

Side notes:

  • I like Matt. I think he is most relatable too and seems cool.
  • Rudi is my least fav with this drama!!
  • I think they are drinking tonics lol
  • 12 guys and 8 girls giving girls first dibs is interesting (and like paradise)
  • Wow Trever
  • Bunk beds for everyone Score!
  • A song written for me would be nice too.

There were some cringy scenes in this first episode. Micheal tod just started talking to a girl and says “I like your lips” like OOF.  What!? And then he continues by moving closer and asking what you do not like my lips? After she only said thank you because it was obvious she and we were all uncomfortable.

Question: does this actually happens/has it happened to you (asking all girls)

Rudi starting things about Matt. I think Matt is a genuine guy and does not need to waste is time with Rudi.

Aye Matt got a rose, Aye Trever gets one too!

I am glad to see Mr. Clean, Jughead, Creepy guy, and a guy I did not really see leave.

It ended with a good set of guys for this next round!

+65 and unattached

Welcome back Bachelor fans! As of last week, I shared one of the two new additions to The Bachelor series. Listen to Your Heart will air April 13th, 2020 8/7c. Do not miss out on this new adventure where 20 people try to find love and create music in the famous Bachelor way!

With that said, let’s talk about the second new show the series has added. So this The Bachelor for Senior Citizens. This comes in light of people pushing for a more mature show. People had taken to social media to show their dislike of how all the shows have catty immature girls and douche guys. I mean I was one of those people last season Bachelor (Peter’s season). Kelley the attorney was mature and is a woman. She stuck out from the crowd for me and I loved that. She seemed real and or not still in high school or first two years of college and joined a sorority or fraternity and had freedom for the first time.

So The Bachelor, Senior Citizen addition is looking for +65 years olds that are “unattached” (their words https://nypost.com/2020/02/25/abc-is-launching-bachelor-spinoff-for-senior-citizens/)

As you know how the definition of age and what is young and old is changing. Like every does it changes. They are hoping this season shines light to mature people still looking for someone to end up with.

I am more curious about this show than Listen to Your Heart. It is so different and interesting for The Bachelor to be the one to put it on.

Unfortunately, they have yet released an air date for the show, but we have some shows to watch until then!

Until next time of The Bachelor Series…

Listen to Your Heart

Welcome back to the bachelor series!

Since The Bachelor is over with I will continue on the Bachelor series. As I stated in my last post, The Bachelor series has added two new additions to its resume. One of which starts on April 13th at normal Bachelor time (8/7C)! This new reality show is similar to the same plot of trying to find love but with a twist of course. “Listen to your Heart” is the name of this Bachelor series, where the love of music and the hope to find love in a human combine. Below is a link to a more detailed description and to meet the 20 lucky contestants!

So just like The Bachelors in Paradise, these lucky people will be finding relationships while living together. I did some research and found that it will focused around Bachelor-style dates that focus on making music or have some musical elements. (ABC.com)

The next part seems to be challenging on the love side because, after the couples form, they are put through musical challenges that are judged by big-time people in the music world. This is where the couples’ true love will reveal to be solid or weak and if their devotion is with their other person or not. This goes on until one couple remains.

On next week’s post I should enlighten everyone on The Bachelor’s second new reality show. This one should be interesting as it is set to be toward the older audience.

Until next time on The Bachelor…

Part 2 Finale

Welcome back to this two-parter Finale of this season’s Bachelor.

This is where or where not proposals happen. The end is here and there is another change in character.

Let’s start with how I thought Hannah Ann was not going to show up lol. Did not see her around and was like “wow both girls left him”. Spoiler alert, she did show.

But, Madi was not! she left 2 days ago? First, it told Peter two days to revisit his feelings and to chose Hannah Ann. Second, did he chose her because she was the only one left? It was an interesting thing.

When Hannah Ann asked, “You love me?” when Peter proposed had me like really Hannah? But, after the show continued and I saw Peter did not know what he felt (big surprise I know) I see why she asked that.

Of course, the engagement did not last long because Peter does not know what he wants or feels. I was here for Hannah Ann calling him out and giving it to him! “I said yes, and this is what I get?” (talking about how he does not know if he wants to marry her now after like two days)

On the live show, Hannah Ann looks like a diva queen and gives it to Peter again and it looks like Peter’s mom Barb was there for it too. “You need to become a real man.” “not being man enough.” “You knew what to say to keep me there.”- Hannah Ann. He wanted that safety net. I did not and do not why he proposed when he felt like this about Madi and also Hannah Ann.

Madi comes on the show and they are dating? What?

Looks like Barb really hates Madi. Barb was funny and typical mom and then has turned into the stereotypical Mother-In-Law from hell.

(homemade Whiskey Sour to close this season off right)

Notable notes:

  • I hope my mom stays that real with me and is that happy for me one day
  • Oh bud needs to be a phrase we put on a shirt lol (phrase Peters mom said a lot)

Because this is the finale of this season’s Bachelor, it does not mean this is the end of this series. I will transition to the two new additions to this franchise. I will see you next week to see that it will be new for the Bachelor nation.

Til next time of The Bachelor Series….

Part 1 Finale

The Final Rose Ceremony

Well, we made it through. We made it to the last episode of this season’s bachelor!

If you watched this season than you know it was a different vibe than the last bachelor. I do not know if it was the women or the bachelor but something just seemed off. If I missed an episode I would not have been upset and or asking people not to tell me. (I also got input about this by my significant other and our friend about this feeling and they agreed.)

The last episode was a two-parter (a two-hour episode on Monday and Tuesday).

Part one (Monday night):

No alcohol this week. All studying for my management policy and strategy exam.

So as I multitask taking notes on the bachelor and reading two chapters this is what I came up with.

He proposed to Hannah Ann (only because Madi left)

Hannah Ann and Peter are looking more like a 2008-2012 high school couple. (the idea of what I have of high schoolers when I was in middle school)

No surprise I still like Hannah Ann at the end of the show. I feel like she was the people’s favorite at the beginning.

I think the talk between Hannah Ann’s dad and Peter’s dad was a nice one.

Why did Peter bring up Madi in the proposal?

The proposal then goes south because Peter comes back and talks to Hannah Ann about how he does not know about the proposal now.

I do not understand why Hannah Ann said yes to the ring if she did not think Peter felt that way about her?

Peter did put his wants and needs before Hannah’s, yet he has done that to every girl on the show.

Madison is emotionally draining. She is going back and forth about not wanting Peter to wanting Peter. Like you and Peter are different people and want different things. You are not compatible in that way.

Peter’s brother hit him with the hard questions Monday night.

By the end of Part one, Hannah Ann closes us out with some words

Part 2 (Tuesday night’s episode) coming next week!

Unit next time on the Bachelor….

Women Fight All

Women Fight All

This past Monday’s episode was more of a catfight with words, as it was Women Tell All. And there were plenty of cat claws out for it.

The actual part of the show they did air was not that eventful in my opinion.

I do not believe Peter on what he said about caring so much about Madison. If he did he would have not hurt her like he did and would have respected her wish in not sleeping with the other two.

Madison was fashionably late to the rose ceremony. I wished she would have not showed up and or did not accept a rose. Madison had a chance to turn down Peter yet she did not. Peter was so shocked himself he asked her “really?” after she said she would accept the rose.

FINALLY, Victoria F. goes home though!!!!!

Now, back to the women tell all. The biggest take away is Kelsey getting a huge bottle of champagne. (she is the one that had champagne shot up her nose one episode known as the champagne gate.)

Tammy was once a girl I liked on the show, but she has turned into a heartless one.

I noticed that Kelly and Natasha were not there. Good to see some mature women not going on the show.

The show did end on a great speech about social media bullying.

Until next time on The Bachelor….

High Standards, High rewards

We Need More Madison’s In This World. (on the note not to fold high standards of herself or what she wants just because of social norms/peer pressure.)

Welcome back for another tasteful try of my notes from this week’s episode of The Bachelor.

This week’s episode actually starts where it left off two last Monday’s rose ceremony. Madison going after Peter to talk about something important, which we fans were thinking it was about her saving herself for marriage…Yet she did not say it clearly. Madi was beating around the bush about how she was saving herself, yet did tell him how she felt if he did become intimate with one of the girls this coming week.

And of course, the producers change things up and made the girl’s life together this past week and Madi went last, so you can only imagine what happened.

Peter said it best. Peter made a comment on the lines of how do you expect him not to be intimate with the other two girls because he is dating three girls at one time. Now even for the ladies in the room this Monday that had them say WOW. (meaning they like the show and was disgusted at the plot of this show when it is exposed like that)

I saw a Hitch (the movie) reference this week. Peter and Hannah Anne go for a jet ski ride. If you have never watched that movie I recommend it highly!

This whole episode I kept saying “Peter you better not hurt Madison.” Because of their talk before this week and that she was going last so if he cared about her and or wanted her to be there, in the end, he would advise her concern.

Of Course, Vitoria shows red flags again and again Peter eats it up.

I think that Victoria and Peter are both acting like there are in high school dating. Immature and only driven by one thing. Sex.

Speaking about sex, did you guys see that foggy hand print they showed? It seemed like Peter was two for three this week and yet it could cost him a really good girl he connects with well.

Notable notes:

  • Love the awkward silence when the girls come back from their nights with Peter
  • I call BS on what Peter says about both Victoria and Madison
  • Madison deserves better (my significant other says)
  • I want Madison’s strength to keep my high standards and not fold for no one no matter what it is.

And of course, they leave us on a cliff hanger going into the final two.

So, See you next week on The Bachelor…

No Place Like Home

I just want to say…..ARE YOU KIDDING ME PETER!!?

Oof. big oof.

This week on the Bachelor it was a sweet homecoming to meet the final four girls’ family. The water was to calm for the first 75% of the show and that is when it all flipped then at the end Peter made me yell the all caps phrase ^^^^^^above^^^^^^

So lets recap Monday Nights Homecoming meet and greet shall we?

(Since my significant other was back from their business trip, I ordered pizza again for this Monday’s episode and we had a Wine and Dine night.)

So if you ever have watched the Bachelor, you have seen the infamous leg wrap girls do. During Hometown this passed Monday it hit me this must be a must-do if you are on the Bachelor because they all do it when they first meet Peter and sometimes multiple times during their hangout.

Peter first went to meet Hannah Anne’s family. Hannah Anne wanted to make a man out of Peter in her father’s eyes, so to relate to her father’s career (lumberjack man) they went ax-throwing. PA: If you have never done this, it is a fun time surprisingly.

Peter finally listens to the girls and wrote a letter back to Hannah Anne of things he loves about her (Hannah Anne wrote one to him earlier in the season). So props to you Peter for listen and making that list. After that nothing too worthy happened.

Madison (my Fav) brought Peter home to her Alumni Mater of Auburn University where her dad is an assistant basketball coach. You can def. Tell Peter did not play too many sports in school. That’s why he flys.

Chad (Madison’s dad) hit Peter with some hard questions and left Peter not able to answer.

Peter looked uncomfortable when they had to pray.

Notable things:

  • Dad’s telling Peter to make sure he really feels something before telling their daughters
  • Dad’s questions Peters really emotions
  • Dad’s saying not to play with their daughter’s hearts
  • Dad’s not knowing how this all works lol.
  • Peter says he is falling for each girl still (eye roll)
  • I HATE the mic that picks up their kissing. Like why amplify it?
  • Funny to see Victoria and Peter on a date with another country singer there (Hunter Hayes) after their last country singer incident.

Kelsey was up next and from the impression, I have of her I was saying things like Iowa is where the crazy girls are, yet Victoria proved me wrong. The only notable thing about Kelsey’s visit was that she hasn’t brought anyone home to meet the family in over two years. So, Peter, there is a red flag.

Victoria, Victoria, Victoria. You were all over the place. Peter was visited by one of his exes after the day time date with Victoria. Apparently his ex was friends with Victoria and knows her good. She warns him of her in the words of “she is known for ending a lot of relationships”. So that night when he arrived at the house to meet the family, he was trying to talk with her about it like he has with any girl during this season when a problem comes up. She completely gets defensive and says she does not want to do this anymore and basically is not wanting Peter. Peter calls her out and was like “why do you never fight for something you want?”. He did not meet her family that night. That next morning is the day of the rose ceremony and guess who shows up at his hotel room!? Victoria. They do not talk long, and she leaves a picture of them from their date earlier the day before.

Rose Ceremony:

No doubt he chose Madison and Hannah Anne.

BUT HE GAVE THE LAST ROSE TO VICTORIA!!!! *Marisa Rose Yell*

Until next week on thE BaCHeLoR…

Solo Under the Stars

Unfortunately, I will not be recapping the two-part episode that happened Wednesday (able two weeks ago now). There was really nothing too juicy in it besides us knowing that Tammy and Mckina were going to leaving from the stuns they pulled on Monday’s episode, yet Kelsey got a rose (eye rolllllllll). So lets jump into this past Monday’s episode shall we!

I was a bachelor for this past Monday’s episode. I sent the girls packing and watched it on my own. Reality: My girlfriend went on a business trip for the week and I forgot to reach out to her friend about still watching it. Because of that, it was my first ever bachelor experience watching the Bachelor and let me tell you what. It is not fun alone lol. So what did I do? I ordered a specialty pizza and chicken and had a great beer or two.

Just letting the good times roll! This week is one of the most important ones because he picks his final four girls which of whom he will now go and meet their families!! So I can not wait to see the family’s reactions. I do get jealous every time Peter speaks in his heritage language. It just makes you more attractive.

I am over the fact during this own season they bring Hannah B. up and/or a Windmill reference. Like it was shocking and funny went it first came out and at the beginning of the season. Now it is annoying. (Him talking about opening up to Hannah B. last year and does not want to get hurt again like that while he is looking at artwork in a park and there just happened to be a painting of a windmill in which he stops to linger at. I also need Peter to grow up. He is always confused lol, that happens when you think with anything other than your brain and/or heart (and I think you know what I mean). And heartbreak hurts Boo Boo, but you knew what you were getting yourself into when coming on the show. So no more “ I am scared to get hurt” like you are the focus to finding you love bachelor.

And how come Peter did not give Natasha a Date Card until the second to last one? I wonder if he even liked her because of that. I do admit they did look like friends on that date than lovers. It looked like she did not even want to kiss him in the scene of them sharing food. But I guess that’s why he sent her home. I definitely peeped that neither one of them ate that food that night lol.

On a different note, I think Madison is a doll and I like her. Glad Peter does too.

I was shocked that Peter sent Kelley home instead of Kelsey and or Victoria F? Like I know she does not seem interested in him anymore but damn she was the only different one. Plus I admire girls that have everything together as she does.

Who do you think the final two will be? My guess is between Madison and Hannah Anne

Until next time on The Bachelor!
